About the Feature
Redis Labs Enterprise stands as the pinnacle iteration of Redis, celebrated for its unparalleled speed and adaptability. Whether deployed in the cloud, on-premises, or through a hybrid approach, it consistently achieves optimal performance and scalability, all while maintaining an attractive price point.
Responsibility
I created the Redis Labs subscriber profile array by analyzing the previous system, studying competitors, brainstorming with the UX team, designing a system, and refining the interface meticulously.
Finding a subscription dashboard solution
In the past, dashboard components were scattered across the system, causing inconvenience to users trying to locate the necessary information. To improve the user experience, one of my roles was to bring all the pieces together into a central dashboard. Now, users can seamlessly monitor their subscriptions without the hassle of searching for information in multiple locations.
Find a Payment methods solution
Previously, the payments and accounts screen was not user-friendly and allowed only one payment method.
My goal was to improve the experience by allowing users to choose from multiple payment options and making the screen more user-friendly.
Redesign the new feature of account settings
I aimed to improve the subscriber's account profile by bringing all missing information together in one dedicated screen. This was necessary to provide a complete and organized view for the subscriber.
Part of a team
I had the privilege of collaborating with Yifat Ziv, the brilliant designer behind Redis, and Jonathan Solomon, our savvy product manager, on a fascinating project. Together, we created an innovative feature and design, came up with innovative solutions for our product, and thoroughly enjoyed our collaborative brainstorming sessions. Big appreciation to the extraordinary team for six months of outstanding teamwork and cooperation.
Challenges
Working with organic team
The primary hurdle in this endeavor stemmed from integrating into a novel team dynamic while swiftly acquainting myself with their operational protocols and immersing in a fresh product landscape. Nonetheless, I embraced the opportunity, learnd the acquisition of novel methodologies and seamlessly integrating my expertise into the collaborative effort.
Redesign features
We're enhancing the SM Cloud system by integrating new features to elevate user experience and address past issues. This involves collaborating closely with our design team to seamlessly integrate these enhancements and employing a flexible development methodology to meticulously design and test each modification incrementally.
Solution
The key to crafting an effective design lay in engaging in numerous conversations with the team to thoroughly comprehend the product. Achieving a solid understanding prior to commencing the design phase proved essential. Armed with this comprehensive insight, the design process flowed much more smoothly.

Entering the project on the fly as a designer, devoid of any previous context, placed significant obstacles in quickly grasping the system and its many complexities. Without a doubt, understanding the nuances of the feature I have to design is extremely important; It lays the foundation for creating accurate and efficient designs.
Solution
Addressing this challenge effectively begins with asking the organic product team pertinent questions. I've engaged in multiple discussions with the UX designer to thoroughly examine the system and its informational breadth. Through her insightful questions and assistance, I've gained a comprehensive understanding of the majority of features.
